In leading the Travel & Tourism team at Mitchell Communications Group, I have an opportunity to work with world-class brands every day. And I’m continually amazed by what brands that commit to excellence are capable of accomplishing.
One nugget that recently caught my attention was that of the new 21C Museum Hotel – located here in Northwest Arkansas – being named by TripAdvisor as the hottest new hotel in U.S. and the No. 4 hottest in the world. Fueled by the opening of the world-class Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the preservation of the region’s historic downtowns, unique restaurants, scenic landscape and more, Northwest Arkansas is establishing itself as an up-and-coming travel destination.
A 104-room boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Bentonville, 21C features a thriving restaurant with culinary interpretations of everything local, a contemporary art museum and something surprising around every corner – inside and out.
It’s a wonderful example of a commitment to excellence, and we applaud that. The travel and tourism industry continues to evolve in a way that reflects the savvy global traveler. It’s exciting. It’s the ride we’re on.
